Gutmann Bausysteme GmbH (Weißenburg) has increased its staff in the sales area for the Europe-wide project business: Max Radt took over the position of Sales Director International Projects at the beginning of August. The 48-year-old studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin with a degree in engineering; later he completed a second academic training at the IESE Business School in Barcelona with an Executive MBA. In 2008 he entered the field of aluminum facade construction and technology for the building skin at Hydro Building Systems in the Catalan capital - here Max Radt was responsible for the development of building-integrated photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. Additional management positions followed at Hydro Building Systems and Sapa Building Systems in Ulm with responsibility for the premium brand Wicona, including sales in North East Europe and at the interface to international key account customers and large projects.
After positions as Regional Commercial Manager for DACH, Benelux, Italy and Scandinavia at Guardian Glass (Luxemburg) and Chief Commercial Officer Europe at HBG Corp. (Huesca, Spain), Max Radt moved to Gutmann Bausysteme GmbH on 1st August, 2020. Managing Director Arnd Brinkmann: "We are very pleased to have gained with Max Radt, a long-term industry-expert who ideally combines technical and innovation know-how with international sales experience." Max Radt describes the challenge of the new position at Gutmann as follows: “The aim is to grow in the project business in Germany as well as in European markets and to further strengthen Gutmann's market position. The in-house integration of all important production steps from extrusion and coating to the thermal break of profiles in the aluminum sector and the strong expertise in wood-aluminum systems, offer a solid basis to enable this."
